Sinopsis
Mitsumoto, a fighter-bomber pilot, falls in battle on a rocky moon on the last gaseous planet of the Teegarden system. He will have to leave that moon to rejoin the service, surviving a very hostile natural environment, also surrounded by enemy bases.

More specifically along the lines of the Wrek wars (years 2853 - 3197), at the height of the conflict, where human attacks for control of the area were most intense.
